And to all a good night

Another Christmas came and went. Eggnog was drank, presents were opened, and familes were pleased. On Monday, we woke up at my Mom and Dad's house to celebrate "Christmas morning" one day early. Growing-up, I can remember Christmas' being the greatest time of year. Opening presents, time-off work and school, unnaturally cold weather- what could be better. Christmas was always special, and this year was no exception. After opening presents, we upheld the third annual "Reindeer games." Over the years my Mom gets excited every year to invent new games that she, Dad, Shaun, Natalie, Nik, and I can play. This year we did movie puzzles, threw balls at five gallon buckets, and .... to sum it all up... Nik and I got our butts handed-to-us by Shaun and his wife Natalie. Nonetheless, we all had fun. My parents have always made Christmas a time to look forward to, and I hope that someday when we have kids, we can inspire the same excitement in them.

I waited 23 years of my life for that. I finally beat you at something.

Once every 23 years is okay by me.
