I guess that sounds a little existentialist... but what I mean to say is that Impact Marketing & Media is an official entity. I decided about a year ago to begin my own company that focuses on helping small Christian business owners market their business, and along with that being able to create marketing material to go along with this goal. The marketing side will take some time to develop, but the media side of the business is starting-off strong. So far, I have a built in account with "My Day Job" for creating vinyl stickers, signs, and logos for our equipment, and I have been able to do some special projects for friends to help them get their businesses going (I need some good references). Soon, I hope to delve more into the digital media realm with video and audio, but for right now my vinyl cutter and my plotter are keeping me busy enough.
What's funny is that doing this job is like having a mullet haircut... it's all business in the front, but a party in the back. Even though I'm getting paid, I enjoy creating logos, signs, and doing projects that I had no idea how to effectively do six months ago. Imagine that... doing what I enjoy and getting paid. Hopefully someday, I'll be doing the Impact Marketing-thing fulltime.
