My Nemesis

I played in a golf tournament Monday at Gainey Ranch in Scottsdale. I played well, but I have to speak for a moment about this hole on the "Lakes Course." You'll notice the unique water feature with the waterfall feature (just to the right of the green). Being left-handed, this 171 yard shot plays difficult for me, because my ball likes finding its way to the edge of the collar, and then rolling-off and getting wet. Last time I played this course, I hit a beautiful shot that landed about 3 feet from the edge... it rolled into the lake. So, being a bit egotistical, I hit an identical ball that landed about four feet from the edge, it rolled-off too. At that point I've accumulated four strokes on a par three hole, and I don't even have a ball in-play. So finally I put a decent ball in play and end up shooting a Snowman (that means an eight for the non-golfer). Anywho, I stepped-up to the Tee Box on Monday, and put the ball ten feet from the cup and six feet from the edge of the water. I parred it baby!
This round: Jason 1 Lake 0
