Week 11: Neurons Multiply (What About the Protons and Electrons?)

11 weeks down, 29 more to go. Time is flying-by and Nik is starting to see some significant changes. Besides feeling "yucky" alot, we are starting to notice a "lump" developing in her abdomen. She is not so enthused about this development, because on a subliminal-female hottie scale, this is the phase that's in-between the rock hard abs that she had from working-out and having a big ole pregnant belly. In other words, her skinny jeans don't fit her like she would like. From my standpoint, her belly is catching-up with mine, and we now have more in-common (she doesn't think that is nearly as funny as I do).

So the baby is in week 11 and we're almost through our first tri-mester. Our doctor's appointment from last week was moved to this Tuesday, and we have another appointment on March 11th, where hopefully we get an ultra-sound. Stay tuned.
